Our black diamond Mask ring is handmade in platinum with graduated reverse-set diamonds. The gemstones are set on the inclined top edge with the culet facing outwards, they catch the light in an unusual way giving a contemporary look to this bold ring. The surface of the mask has a brushed satin finish contrasting with the inside of the ring and the edges that are highly polished.
This design has been made as a collaboration. From the first sketches to the finishing touches, the ring went from hands to hands, each one of us working on different steps of the design and the making. This statement ring is the second mask from our Masquerade collection, designed to complement the Venice Mask ring, the soft flowing shape of the first ring contrasts with the sharp and more angular shape of the black diamond design. This unisex design could make a striking unusual wedding ring with a contemporary “spiky” feel or an alternative engagement ring/commitment ring.

 Our mysterious Masks are symbols of the subconscious mind, recognised as the source of creativity, intuition, inspiration, inner knowing…We access it at night, in our dreams, but are only left with glimpses of it when we wake up...Even if our subconscious mind plays a huge part in our lives, this side of us can feel like an enigma. On the finger or around the neck, wearing a miniature mask as a piece of jewellery is like a reminder to stay true to yourself, a symbol to show your individuality in an exquisite way.

Each piece from the Masquerade collection is handmade in platinum, 18ct gold, and/or sterling silver, using white and black diamonds. We fuse the worlds of traditional goldsmithing and art jewellery. By joining forces and sharing a very different set of skills, we aim to create sculptural pieces that feel timeless and one-of-a-kind.
