Blue skies - Curio Pendant – Silver, 24k Gold, Enamel
This piece was inspired by the treasures you find in cabinets of curiosities, objects that spark the imagination and feel like they’re keeping a secret.
Handcrafted in sterling silver, the tiny hands were first carved in wax, a slow, meditative part of the process we love. The pendant is finished with 24k gold details using Keum-Boo, a traditional Korean gilding technique that gives the surface a soft, warm glow.
At the center, an archway is delicately hand-engraved and hand-painted with enamels using the champlevé technique. Articulated silver hands gently cradle the piece, adding a playful, lifelike touch.
It has the feel of a vintage treasure, something quietly waiting to be found, and once found, never let go.
-The arch pendant measures 18mm X 12mm.
-The length of the necklace is 17 inches. The length of the chain can be changed on request.
