Imaginarium Atelier, Jewellery studio & gallery opening in Machynlleth this Spring.

After a long search for the right place, we’re finally ready to share something we’ve been quietly working towards for quite some time: Imaginarium Atelier is opening its doors this Spring. It feels like the natural next chapter for our work, a dedicated space for making, exhibiting and welcoming you in person. 

After fifteen years in the city, we moved from Brighton to the rural edge of Snowdonia one year ago, and we’ve been deeply inspired by our new surroundings ever since. Finding the right home for the studio took patience. We wanted somewhere that felt aligned with the spirit of our work, thoughtful, characterful, and rooted in place.

As we begin this new chapter, we wanted to share a few photographs of the space in its original state, before the transformation takes shape. For now it’s a blank canvas, but in our minds it’s already a darker, theatrical little gallery of wonders.

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming you to our new studio and gallery, opening in Spring in Machynlleth, Mid Wales. It feels like the right home for Imaginarium Atelier. Nestled amongst the hills, Machynlleth is a small market town with deep history, and a creative spirit that runs through the town.

Our new space will be a working jewellery studio and gallery, a cabinet of curiosities where handmade jewellery and curated artworks sit side by side. Jewellery will be created in-house using traditional techniques including hand engraving, stone setting, enamelling and wax carving.

We will display one-of-a-kind works and small collections, visitors will be able discuss bespoke commissions directly with the makers: engagement and wedding rings, modern heirlooms, and the thoughtful remodelling, restoration and repair of treasured jewellery.
